Muthoot Finance Share Price
The board of directors of Muthoot Finance, a gold loan company, has approved an interim dividend of ₹26 per share ahead of the results for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2024-25. Muthoot Finance stated in a regulatory notice that the board considered and approved the payment of an interim dividend of ₹26 per equity share or 260% of the face value of ₹10 per share for the financial year 2024-25. Furthermore, the board has recommended increasing the borrowing capacity of the board of directors to ₹2 lakh crore for shareholder approval.
Coal India Share Price
Public sector Coal India has stated that it has entered into an agreement with Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) to set up a state-of-the-art power plant with a total investment of ₹16,500 crore in Jharkhand. These ultra-supercritical power plants are more efficient than ‘supercritical’ plants and also have lower emissions. This project will be an expansion of the existing Chandrapura thermal power station.
Vedanta Share Price
The promoter company Twin Star Holdings (the borrower) has reached an agreement with lenders for funding of $530 million. Vedanta Resources and Welter Trading are the guarantors of this agreement. This agreement has been made to repay the financial debts of the VRL Group, meet the transaction expenses specified in the finance documents, and for the general corporate purposes of the borrower. Twin Star Holdings is a related party of Vedanta and is considered part of the promoter group, which holds a 40.02% stake in Vedanta.
Tata Power Share Price
Tata Motors has signed a power purchase agreement with Tata Power’s subsidiary Tata Power Renewable Energy for the co-development of a 131-megawatt wind-solar hybrid renewable energy project. The leading vehicle company based in Mumbai stated that this project, set to generate approximately 300 million units of clean energy annually, is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by over two hundred thousand tones each year.
HUL Share Price
The company has completed the acquisition of 90.5% shareholding in Aprecio through a combination of primary investment and secondary acquisition, for a total cash amount of ₹27.064 billion.
Mazagon Dock Share Price
Captain (IN Retd) Jagmohan has been appointed as the chairman and managing director of the company, effective from 21 April until his retirement on 30 September 2029. Consequently, Biju George, Director (Shipbuilding), will not take additional charge as chairman and managing director from 21 April.
