Stock Market Today Thursday 24 April 2025 | Today is the monthly expiry of Nifty in the domestic stock markets. The market had been showing an uptrend for seven days, but it has started trading with a decline today. The Sensex was down by 160 points. Nifty was also seen trading around 24,280 with a decline of 50 points.
Bank Nifty was trading down by 200 points. There was a slight gain in the Nifty midcap index. The largest declines on Nifty were in shares such as Tata Consumer, Eternal, and ONGC.
Speaking of the indices, there wasn’t a significant decline in any index. The NBFC index, media, metal, and healthcare indices were in the red. The greatest bullishness was observed in the PSU bank and pharma sectors. India VIX was up by 2.67%.
