As of 10:20 AM Tokyo time, S&P 500 futures rose by 0.6%, Japan’s Topix fell by 0.1%, Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was little changed, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose by 0.3%, and the Shanghai Composite fell by 1.3%. Euro Stoxx 50 futures were up by 0.3%.
The euro increased by 0.1% to $1.0829. The Japanese yen fell by 0.3% to 149.82 per dollar. The offshore yuan was little changed at 7.2581 per dollar.
